Abstract

Fenomena batu mulia dan permata yang semarak di provinsi Lampung melahirkan komunitas batu mulia dan permata Lampung Gemstone Community, komunitas tersebut bertujuan untuk menghimpun penggemar, kolektor, perajin batu mulia dan permata di provinsi Lampung, dalam mencapai tujuan maka akan terjadi proses komunikasi dengan penggemar, kolektor, perajin batu mulia dan permata sehingga membentuk sebuah pola komunikasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, mendeskripsikan, menganalisis pola komunikasi komunitas Lampung Gemstone Community dalam menghimpun penggemar, kolektor, perajin batu mulia dan permata. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Model pola komunikasi dari H.A.W Widjaya digunakan untuk menemukan, mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pola yang ditemukan pada penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah model pola komunikasi yang digunakan oleh komunitas Lampung Gemstone Community dalam menghimpun penggemar, kolektor, perajin batu mulia dan permata ialah model pola komunikasi rantai, pola komunikasi roda, dan pola komunikasi bintang. Model pola komunikasi tersebut digunakan saat menghimpun penggemar, kolektor, perajin batu mulia dan permata dalam acara pameran batu mulia dan permata yang digelar oleh komunitas Lampung Gemstone Community. Kata Kunci : Fenomena, Gemstone, Komunitas, Pola Komunikasi, Acara Pameran Batu Mulia dan Permata. ABSTRACT The phenomenon of precious stones and gems are rampant in Lampung province gave birth to communities precious stones and gems Lampung Gemstone Community, the Community aims to gather fans, collectors, artisans, precious stones and gems in the province of Lampung, in achieving its objectives, there will be a process of communication with fans, collectors , artisans, precious stones and gems to form a pattern of communication. The purpose of this study was to determine, describe, analyze communication patterns Lampung Gemstone Community in collecting enthusiasts, collectors, artisans, precious stones and gems. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. Model communication patterns of HAW Widjaya used to discover, describe and analyze patterns found in this study. Results from this study is the model of the communication patterns used by the Lampung Gemstone Community in collecting enthusiasts, collectors, artisans, precious stones and gems is the model of the chain of communication patterns, communication patterns wheels, and communication patterns of stars. Patterns Of Communication models are used when collecting enthusiasts, collectors, artisans, precious stones and gems in the event of precious stones and jewels exhibition held by Lampung Gemstone Community.
