Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Tingkat kemampuan siswa kelas X dalam menyusun pikiran dan perasaan dalam bentuk paragraf masih rendah. Mengatasi masalah tersebut diperlukan pendekatan yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran menulis paragraf argumentasi dan mendeskripsikan peningkatkan kemampuan menulis paragraf argumentasi siswa melalui pendekatan konstruktivisme pada siswa kelas X MAN Kedondong Pesawaran, Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian tindakan yang dipilih adalah bentuk penelitian melalui self-reflective inquiry, atau penelitian melalui refleksi diri. Prosedur dalam penelitian dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga siklus. Objek Penelitian adalah kelas X2 MAN Kedondong Kabupaten Pesawaran dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 38 siswa. Hasil kompetensi menulis paragraf argumentatif dan aktivitas siswa pada setiap siklus cenderung meningkat. Skor rata-rata kemampuan menulis paragraf argumentatif pada pra siklus di kelas X2 adalah 51,54 dengan kategori kurang, sedangkan pada siklus I mengalami peningkatan dengan skor rata-rata adalah 63,60 dengan kategori sedang. Pada siklus II rata-rata skor adalah 70,18 dengan kategori baik dan pada siklus III rata-rata skor adalah 80,26 dengan kategori baik sekali. Tingkat ketuntasan belajar pada siklus I 25 siswa atau 65,79%, Siklus II sebanyak 36 siswa atau 94,73% dan siklus III sebanyak 38 siswa atau 100%. Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan konstruktivisme dapat meningkatan keterampilan menulis paragraf argumentatif siswa. In order to overcome that problem, there must be a proper way to increasing the improvement of writing competence. This research is to improve learning process of argumentative texts and to describing the improvement of writing competence with constructivism approach. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research, which taken place in MAN Kedondong Pesawaran, was an action research especially self-reflective inqury action research. The procedur of this research is done in three cycle. This research involved 38 students of X2 MAN Kedondong. Based on the result of the research seems that the writing competence and activity of student of X2 students tend to improve. It seems that the writing competence In pre-cycle action, the average score of writing argumentative text is 51,54. In the first cycle, it reaches 63,60. Then, in second cycle it become 70,18, in the third cycle it has reached 80,26. It apparently improves the number of students who reach the writing competence. In the first cycle, there were 25 students (65,79%) who reach the criteria. In second cycle, there were 36 students (94,73%). In the last cycle, the 38 students of X2 (100%) have reached the competence of writing argumentative text.
