Mastery and use of a model of learning in the process teaching social studies (IPS) indispensable for the achievement of learning objectives . Cooperartive learning models of type Number Head Together ( NHT) is one leraning models are expected to increase students' motivation and creativity of student learning . Positive perception of the use of learning models NHT required in order to create a fun learning models in order to improve students' learning motivation and creativity . The purpose of this study was to clarify the effect is students 'perceptions about the use of cooperative learning models NHT and students' motivation to learn IPS student creativity . This research method is a survey , and the sample is students who were in eighth grade , amounting to 67 students , the data collection techniques used is the questionnaire given to the respondents were then performed statistical analysis of the data processing through . Based on the results of the study indicate that students 'perceptions about cooperative learning model NHT has a positive influence and significant impact on the formation of students' learning creativity that is equal to 0216 > 0.211 at the significance level α = 0.05 level. Students' perceptions about cooperative learning model NHT has a positive influence and significant impact on the formation of student motiva tion is equal to 0.285 > 0.211 at the significance level α = 0.05 level. Students' perceptions about cooperative learning model NHT and student motivation has a positive influence an d significant impact on student learning creativity that is equal to 0.196 > 0.115 at the significance level α = 0.05 level. It can be concluded that that the students' perceptions about cooperative learning model NHT and student motivation affects creativity social studies . Penguasaan dan penggunaan suatu model pembelajaraan dalam proses pembelajaraan IPS sangat diperlukan demi tercapainya tujuan pembelaja raan. Model pembelajaraan koope r a tif tipe N umber Head T ogether (NHT) merupakan salah satu model pembelajaraan yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan kre tivitas belajar siswa. Persepsi positif terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaraan NHT diperlukan dalam upaya menciptakan model pembelajaraan yang meny enangkan guna meningkatkan motivasi dan kreativitas belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang penggunaan model p embelajaraan kooperatif tipe NHT dan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap kreativitas belajar IPS siswa , dengan menggunakan m etode penelitian survey , dan sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Negeri Tumjijajar yang berada di kelas VIII yang berjumlah 6 7 siswa . Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan kue sioner yang diberikan kepada respond en yang selanjutnya dilakukan pengolahan data melalui analisis statistik dengan menggunakan uji regresi . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa tentang model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT mempunyai pengaruh positif, erat dan signifikan terhadap pembentukan kreativitas belajar siswa yaitu sebesar 0,216 > 0,211 atau t - hitung lebih besar daripada t - tabel pada taraf nyata α = 0.05. P ersepsi siswa tentang model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT mempunyai pengaruh positif, erat dan signifikan terhadap pembentukan motivasi belajar siswa yaitu sebesar 0,285 > 0,211 atau t - hit ung lebih besar daripada t - tabel pada taraf nyata α = 0.05. P ersepsi siswa tentang model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dan motivasi belajar siswa mempunyai peng aruh positif, erat dan signifikan terhadap kreativitas belajar siswa yaitu sebesar 0,196 > 0,115 atau f - hit ung lebih besar daripada f - tabel pada taraf nyata α = 0.05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahwa persepsi siswa tentang model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dan motivasi belajar siswa berpengaruh terhadap kreativitas belajar IPS siswa.
