Abstract
ABSTRAK Tayangan My Trip My Adventure merupakan salah satu program acara televisi dari stasiun televisi swasta di Indonesia. Program tayangan hasil produksi sendiri tersebut bertemakan petualangan. Fokus pada penelit ian ini adalah tayangan My Trip My Adventure dan pengaruhnya terhadap minat traveling mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik angkatan 2012 Universi tas Lampung. Tipe penelitian ini adalah eksplanatif yang bertujuan untuk menghub ungkan atau mencari sebab akibat antara dua variabel. Sementara metode yang d igunakan adalah metode survei yang menggunakan kuesioner, populasi pada pe nelitian ini mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Angkatan 2012 Universitas Lampung sebanyak 726 dan sampel penelitian sebanyak 88 resp onden. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Hi diterima yan g berarti ada pengaruh tayangan My Trip My Adventure terhadap minat traveling mahasiswa. Nilai korelasi pengaruh tayangan My Trip My Adventure terhadap minat traveling mahasiswa adalah 0,387 yang berada pada rentang pen garuh lemah tetapi pasti. Sedangkan besar pengaruhnya adalah 15%. Kata Kunci : tayangan, minat, traveling ABSTRACT My Trip My Adventure is one of the television progr am of the private television station in Indonesia. The result of the shows of it s own production-themed adventure. The focus of this research is the My Tri p My Adventure program and its influence through the interest of traveling of the student of the Faculuty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Lampun g force in 2012. The type of researchis an explanatory that aims to link the cau se and effect between the two variables. Mean while the method which is used in t his research is survey by using questionnare, populations in research is stru dents of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences University of Lampung force in 2012 amount 726 students and samples are 88 respondents. The result of this research rejected Ho and Accepted Hi meaning that there is an influenced of My Trip My Adventure to the traveling interest of the students. The correlation value of this research is 0,387, it is on weak interval but definite on its influence, whereas the number of its influence is 15%. Keyword : television program, interest, traveling �
