Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
The aim of this research was describing and analyzing the national standard school management in SMKN 1 Kotabumi in an effort to achieve the goal of national standard. This researched focused on management of national standard school which has sub-focused : 1) Curriculum management, 2) Teaching process management, 3) Assessment management, 4) Human resources management, 5) Infrastructure management, 6) Implementation of school based management, 7) Financing management. The method which was used in this research was a phenomenological qualitative method. The data collecting techniques were through observation, documentation and interviews. The data sources were principal, school committee, supervisor, vice principals, chief of administration, administration staff, teachers and students. The results of research were: 1) School Based Curriculum (KTSP) was composed without following the guideline which was provided by the government, 2) Teaching and learning process were conducted by using conventional ways (teacher centre), 3) Remedial was conducted without following the guideline, 4) There was small chance for administration staff to develop their competency, and the scholarship which was provided for the teachers by the government was very limited, 5) Lack of maintenances for the infrastructure and teaching media was very limited. The inventory was bad, it caused a problem for the school, 6) The implementation of School Based Management was not success, 7) There were no transparency in using and reporting the budget. Key words: School Management, National Standard School, School Based Management Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis manajemen sekolah standar nasional di SMKN 1 Kotabumi dalam upaya mencapai tujuan sekolah standar nasional. Fokus penelitian adalah manajemen sekolah standar nasional dengan subfokus : 1) Manajemen kurikulum 2) Manajemen proses pembelajaran 3) Manajemen penilaian 4) Manajemen pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan 5) Manajemen sarana dan prasarana 6) Pelaksanaan MBS 7) Manajemen pembiayaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, dokumentasi dan obeservasi. Sumber data terdiri dari Pengawas Sekolah, Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah, Komite Sekolah, Guru, Kepala Tata Usaha, Staff tata usaha, dan siswa. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Penyusunan KTSP belum mengikuti panduan yang telah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah, 2) Proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas masih bersifat konvensional, belum tercipta proses pembelajaran yang aktif kreatif dan menyenangkan, 3) Remidial diberikan kepada siswa belum sesuai dengan panduan yang telah ditetapkan 4) Tenaga Kependidikan kurang memperoleh kesempatan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan , dan program peningkatan mutu yang disiapkan untuk pendidik masih sangat terbatas, 5) Prasarana yang dimiliki telah memenuhi standar sarana prasarana, hanya perlu peningkatan dalam pemeliharaan. Sarana pendidikan sangat terbatas, khususnya untuk media, dan inventarisasi sarana tidak lengkap menyebabkan sering terjadinya kehilangan, 6) Pengelolaan sekolah diharapkan mengimplementasikan manajemen berbasis sekolah, dan hal ini belum berhasil di implementasikan dengan baik, 7) Pemanfaatan anggaran dan pelaporan belum dilakukan secara transparan. Kata Kunci :Manajemen Sekolah, Sekolah Standar Nasional, Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah.
