Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

The lack of speaking ability in Indonesia language well and truly is one of problem in Indonesia language learning. To solve this problem above is needed some ways in improving speaking ability for example, talk show. Nowadays it becomes interesting media in learning process. Therefore, this problem of research is how to improve speaking ability in Indonesia language through talk show? The objective of research is to improve study achievement and students speaking ability through talk show. The method which is used is qualitative descriptive by classroom action research. It used communicative approach. The procedure of research was implemented three cycles. The object of research is eleventh grade IPA-1 of SMA Negeri 6 Bandarlampung Academic Year 2012/2013 which is about 40 students, consisting of 31 female and 9 male. Test which is used in improving speaking ability is oral test through talk show. The result of research shown there is improving in teacher activity in lesson plan. This case is suitable for student activity in learning well in order to improve students speaking ability. The score of speaking ability through talk show was gotten average of cycle I 71,63 with categorized enough, at cycle II is 78,69 with categorized good and at cycle III is 85,56 with categorized very good. The result of standard achievement student at cycle I is 62,5%, at cycle II is 82,5%, and at cycle III is 100%. In the other hand, student who is not achieved standard achievement at cycle I is 37,5%, at cycle II is 17,5%, and at cycle III is 0%. This result improves significantly from cycle I until cycle III and it has been achieved indicators. Based on classroom action research result can be concluded that there is improving speaking ability in Indonesia language through talk show. Keywords: speaking ability, talk show
