Abstract
STRATEGI BERTAHAN HIDUP RUMAHTANGGA NELAYAN MISKIN DI KELURAHAN SUKARAJA, KECAMATAN BUMI WARAS, BANDAR LAMPUNG Oleh Arini Nur Hidayati Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan strategi bertahan hidup rumahtangga nelayan miskin. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada rumahtangga nelayan miskin yang bermukim di Kelurahan Sukaraja, Kecamatan Bumi Waras, Bandar Lampung dimana masyarakatnya memanfaatkan sumberdaya alam yang berada di Teluk Lampung sebagai sumber utama matapencaharian mereka.Tipe penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan secara kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 81 rumahtangga nelayan miskin. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan dengan cara analisis tabel frekuensi melalui program pengolahan data statistik, yaitu SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa strategi bertahan hidup yang digunakan oleh rumahtangga nelayan di Kelurahan Sukaraja dalam menghadapi kemiskinan adalah diversifikasi pekerjaan, membangun/mengembangkan jaringan sosial, berhutang dan menekan pengeluaran. Kata kunci: kemiskinan, nelayan, strategi bertahan hidup, Teluk Lampung HOUSEHOLD SURVIVAL STRATEGY OF POOR FISHERMEN IN SUKARAJA VILLAGE, BUMI WARAS DISTRICT, BANDAR LAMPUNG by Arini Nur Hidayati Abstrack This research’s goal is to identify and explain the survival strategies of poor fishermen households. This research did for the households of poor fishermen who stayed in Sukaraja Village, Bumi Waras District, Bandar Lampung where the society used natural resources located in Teluk Lampung as the main source of their livelihood. This type of research is descriptive quantitative approach. The sample of research totaled 81 poor fishermen households. Data collection techniques in this research is used questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation, while the data analysis was done by analysis of frequency tables through processing programs of the statistical data, that called SPSS. Based on the research results, it is known that the survival strategies used by fishermen’s households in the Sukaraja village to face the poverty is employment diversification, build / develop sosial networks, debt and reduce costs.
