Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembel-ajaran kooperatif TSTS dibandingkan pembelajaran diskusi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung dengan sampel siswa kelas VIII C dan VIII D yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive random sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes kemampuan representasi matematis. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran kooperatif TSTS dapat meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. This quasi experimental research aimed to know the increasing of student’s mathematical representation skill which used TSTS cooperative learning compared to discuss learning. The population of this research was all grade eight students of Al-kautsar Junior High School of Bandar Lampung with samples were students of VIIIC and VIID class which were taken by purposive random sampling technique. The research data were obtained by test of mathematical representation skill. The conclusion of this research was TSTS cooperative learning could increase the student’s mathe-matical representation skill.
