Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

The aim of the research was to describe the social interaction models in the role of peers to the formation of the students’ personality in school environment. The method of this research was descriptive qualitative. The subjects of the research were five students of SMA Negeri 10 Bandar Lampung. The research data were collected by using observation and interviews The result of this research was the social interaction models in peers provided interrelationship. The social interaction models were formed because of the openness, trust, a sense of comfort, the interests, needs, equality and similarity of motives. The role of peers was take and give, dependency. Friendship was one of process in interaction in which students will experience a process of interrelationship such as the interplay between peers. The roles of peers in this research were (1) friendship provided new information; (2) peers provided information to interact with other friends; (3) the intimacy of friendship relationship with peers. Friends had influence in shaping the personality of the students. Personality was the character of a person in his behavior. The value of personality formed by social interaction models in the role of peers in school environment were welcoming, social caring, tolerance. Keywords: social interaction models, personality, the role of peers Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan model interaksi sosial peran teman sebaya dalam pembentukan nilai kepribadian siswa di lingkungan sekolah. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa di SMA Negeri 10 Bandar Lampung sebanyak 5 orang siswa. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan obsevasi dan wawancara. Adapun hasil penelitian ini yaitu model interaksi sosial teman sebaya memberikan hubungan timbal balik. Model interaksi sosial terbentuk karena adanya keterbukaan, kepercayaan, rasa nyaman, kepentingan, kebutuhan, kesetaraan dan kesamaan motif. Maka peran teman sebaya yang muncul adalah take and give, ketergantungan. Pertemanan sebagai salah satu proses interaksi dimana siswa akan mengalami proses timbal balik misalnya pengaruh-mempengaruhi antar teman sebaya. Peran teman sebaya dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1) pertemanan memberikan informasi-informasi baru; (2) teman sebaya memberikan informasi berinteraksi dengan teman yang lain; (3) keakraban hubungan pertemanan dengan teman sebaya. Teman mempunyai pengaruh dalam membentuk kepribadian siswa. Kepribadian merupakan watak seseorang di dalam perilakunya. Nilai kepribadian yang terbentuk dari model interaksi sosial peran teman sebaya di lingkungan sekolah yaitu bersahabat, peduli sosial, toleransi. Kata kunci: model interaksi sosial, nilai kepribadian, peran teman sebaya.
