Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

The purpose of this study is to describe learning plan, to implement of learning cooperative learning NHT (Numbered Head Together) model which can improve the basic skills of social studies and the IX C class learning outcomes in SMP Negeri 10 Kotabumi, North Lampung. The Method used in the study is Classroom Action Research. It can be done through 3 cycles, each cycles consisting of planning, action, observations and reflections. Data collections techniques used are: observations, interviews, tests, fhoto / pictures, and documentations. The results of this study showed an increase in : a) Value learning plan for each cycle of 1 to 3 to be very good. b) Teacher performance in the learning value in cycle 1 to 3 to be very good. c) Achievement of basic skills in the social studies students at every cycles 1 to 3, ie, skilled reached 87%, which means that of the eight indicators have been achieved as a whole (read, answer questions, ask questions, solve problems, express opinions, responsibility, collaboration and discussion). d) Improving student learning outcomes, for 1 cycle students who completed at 20 of the number of students (36 people), for students who completed 2 cycles of up to 26 of the number of students and the students who completed 3 cycles reached 34 of the number of students. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT (Numbered Head Together) yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dasar IPS dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IX C SMP Negeri 10 Kotabumi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilakukan dalam tiga siklus, setiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Tehnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu, observasi, wawancara, tes, fhoto, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan yaitu; a) Nilai perencanaan pembelajaran pada setiap siklus 1 sampai 3 menjadi sangat baik. b) Nilai kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran pada siklus 1 sampai 3 menjadi sangat baik. c) Ketercapaian ketrampilan dasar IPS pada siswa pada setiap siklus 1 sampai 3 yaitu, terampil mencapai 87 %, yang artinya dari 8 indikator sudah tercapai secara keseluruhan (membaca, menjawab pertanyaan, bertanya, memecahkan masalah, mengemukakan pendapat, tanggungjawab, bekerjasama dan berdiskusi). d) Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, untuk siklus 1 siswa yang tuntas mencapai 20 dari jumlah siswa (36 orang), untuk siklus 2 siswa yang tuntas mencapai 26 dari jumlah siswa dan siklus 3 siswa yang tuntas mencapai 34 dari jumlah siswa.
