Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 25 Bandar Lampung. Desain dalam penelitian ini adalah posttest only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 25 Bandar Lampung semester genap tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi dalam sembilan kelas. Dengan teknik purposive sampling terpilih kelas VIIIH dan VIIII sebagai sampel penelitian. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 25 Bandar Lampung berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. This quasi experimental research aimed to know the effect of cooperative learning model of TSTS type towards student’s mathematical conceptual understanding skill of grade 8th of SMPN 25 Bandar Lampung. The design of this research was the posttest only control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade 8th of SMPN 25 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2013/2014 that was distributed into nine classes. By purposive sampling technique, it was choosen VIIIH and VIIII class as samples. The research data were obtained by the test of mathematical conceptual understanding skill. The conclusion of this research was the cooperative learning model of TSTS type affect the student’s mathematical conceptual understanding skill.
