ABSTRAK Pandangan dunia tokoh marginal dalam novel Gadis Pantai karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer dan implikasinya pada pembelajaran Satra di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) merupakan fokus utama penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan makna novel Gadis Pantai karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer dengan menggunakan pendekatan strukturalisme genetik dan mengimplikasikannya pada pembelajaran Satra di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) kelas XI semester 1. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Gadis Pantai karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan cara membaca keseluruhan isi novel, menandai, dan mengklasifikasikan berdasarkan aspek-aspek strukturalisme genetik. Langkah selanjutnya mendeskripsikan analisis aspek-aspek strukturalisme genetik dalam novel Gadis Pantai karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Data yang dikumpulkan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pandangan dunia yang mengekspresikan aspirasi golongan masyarakat marginal untuk menyampaikan sebuah kritik pada praktik kesewenang-wenangan penguasa yang feodalis dan imperialis. Pengimplikasian novel Gadis Pantai dalam pembelajaran sastra ditujukan untuk bahan ajar analisis unsur-unsur intrinsik dan ekstrinsik novel. Dalam pembelajaran sastra Indonesia, pembelajaran analisis unsur-unsur intrinsik dan ekstrinsik novel disampaikan khusus di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) kelas XI semester 1. Guru dapat menggunakan novel Gadis Pantai karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer sebagai alternatif bahan ajar karena novel tersebut layak sesuai kriteria pemilihan bahan ajar sastra. ABSTRACT The marginal figure worldview over the novel of Gadis Pantai written by Pramoedya Ananta Toer and its implications towards learning literature in Senior High School of the main focus in this research. The purpose of this study was to describe the meaning of the novel of Gadis Pantai written by Pramoedya Ananta Toer using a genetic structuralism approach and applying it towards learning literature in the 1st semester of grade IX in Senior High School. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative method. The data source of the research was the novel of Gadis Pantai written by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The data in this study were analyzed by reading the entire novel, marking, and classifying it based on the aspects of genetic structuralism. The next step was to describe the analysis of the genetic structuralism aspects in the novel of Gadis Pantai written by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The data collected from this study have shown that the world’s view that expressing the aspirations of the marginal social groups to deliver a critique towards the practice of the arbitrariness of feudal and imperialist rulers. The implications of the novel of Gadis Pantai in learning literature was intended to be an instructional tool to analyze the intrinsic and extrinsic elements of the novel. In learning Indonesian literature, the study of the analysis of intrinsic and extrinsic elements of the Indonesian novel was delivered in the 1st semester of grade IX in Senior High School. Teachers can use the novel of Gadis Pantai written by Pramoedya Ananta Toer as alternative teaching materials since the novel was appropriately deserved based on the criteria for teaching literature.
