The problem discucced in this study is characteristics of teacher talk in learning activity at Global Surya Kindergarteen. The study aims at describing the characteristics of teacher talk such as repetition, simplification, interrogative sentence, code mixing, and code switching. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive method. The source of data in this study are two teachers of Global Surya Kindergarteen, one of them is teacher of Kindergarteen A and the other one of them is teacher of Kindergarteen B. The data in this study was verbal data, in from of recorded teacher speeches in learning activity that was transcripted and made into data corpus. The amount of teacher speeches that become study data consist of 177 speeches of Kindergarteen A teacher and 174 speeches of Kindergarteen B teacher. The result shows that the characteristics of teacher talk exist in teacher speech during learning activity. Repetition can be found in the speech of Kindergarteen A teacher when explaining, asking, and ordering, in the Kindergarteen B teacher when explaining, asking, ordering, and confirming. Simplification can be found in the speech of Kindergarteen A teacher when asking and ordering, in the Kindergarteen B teacher when explaining, asking, and ordering. Interrogative sentence can be found in the speech of Kindergarteen A teacher when explaining, asking, and ordering, in the Kindergarteen B teacher when explaining, asking, ordering, and confirming. Code mixing can be found in the speech of Kindergarteen A teacher when explaining, asking, and ordering, in the Kindergarteen B teacher when explaining, asking, ordering, and confirming. Code switching can be found in the speech of Kindergarteen A teacher when explaining, asking, ordering, and confirming, in the Kindergarteen B teacher when explaining, asking, and ordering. Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah karakteristik bahasa guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di TK Global Surya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik bahasa guru yang berupa repetisi, penyederhanaan, kalimat tanya, campur kode, dan alih kode. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah dua orang guru TK Global Surya, yaitu satu guru dari TK A dan satu guru dari TK B. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa data verbal, yaitu rekaman tuturan guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang ditranskripsikan kemudian dibuat dalam korpus data. Jumlah tuturan guru yang menjadi data penelitian terdiri dari 177 tuturan guru TK A dan 174 tuturan guru TK B. Hasil penelitian menujukkan adanya karakteristik bahasa guru pada tuturan guru saat kegiatan pembelajaran. Repetisi terdapat dalam tuturan guru TK A saat menjelaskan, bertanya, dan memerintah, sedangkan pada guru TK B saat menjelaskan, bertanya, memerintah, dan menguatkan. Penyederhanaan terdapat dalam tuturan guru TK A saat bertanya dan memerintah, sedangkan pada guru TK B saat menjelaskan, bertanya, dan memerintah. Kalimat tanya terdapat dalam tuturan guru TK A saat menjelaskan, bertanya, dan memerintah, sedangkan pada guru TK B saat menjelaskan, bertanya, memerintah, dan menguatkan. Campur kode terdapat dalam tuturan guru TK A saat menjelaskan, bertanya, dan memerintah, sedangkan pada guru TK B saat menjelaskan, bertanya, memerintah, dan menguatkan. Alih kode terdapat dalam tuturan guru TK A saat menjelaskan, bertanya, memerintah, dan menguatkan, sedangkan dalam tuturan guru TK B dalam kegiatan menjelaskan, bertanya, dan memerintah.
